"Inspired by nature. My passion for capturing special moments in nature began at an early age during walks in the East Tennessee mountains with my father. I was fascinated by his ability to spot Lady Slippers peeping out from under the leaves or a bird nest virtually hidden from view. Observing without disturbing and learning the behaviors of creatures in the wild has been a life long joy for me. My photography focuses on the beauty around us and expressions in nature that are often overlooked by the casual observer."
